I will leave this free website up on wordpress, because to tell you the truth, there is so much information to move. And WordPress will only move a website if you purchase a web hosting package from them. Plus a few hundred dollars to press a button to make the move. Well I’m not rich. So the old website stays in, but all the new updates will be posted on AdventBibleStudy.com
That only makes sense. If you want to stay updated, subscribe to the new site. You’ll receive an email every time the website is updated. I am also added a front page offer for a free eBook every once in a while. The trouble that is, people download the free copy and sell it on Amazon, ebay, and other sites. The books are spread around, but I see no funds. I don’t like dealing with Internet pirates, but maybe one day they will pick open up a book and read it.
A look at the New Site
There are all kinds of new updates from Genesis to revelation, Bible Study tools, videos, and more. The transition should be easy, the site looks more professional, and has many more ways to interact media with the written word. It takes a bit of creativity, a lot of time and prayer, and unfortunately I feel the need to add ads to help pay for the extra expenses. The cost to stay on the Internet keeps going up. Domains cost money. The new site charges by the month, and all the costs keep rising. A few ad clicks a day will help pay the expenses.
I am new to the ad market, so if anyone has any suggestions, leave a comment. Wish me luck, and I will keep writing and posting stories and studies worth reading and sharing.

Let me tell you something. When you asked God for wisdom, and He handed you a big black book containing over 1000 pages, what did you do? Did you say it was too hard, and give up? Or did you look for someone to read it for you, and give you the quick run down on what it says? We are at the very end of a spiritual war. Don’t you think it’s time to read the manual? The best thing you can do is pick up the book, read it, and if you need help, find someone who is able to explain how to understand scripture. Not their personal opinion, or an interpretation based on any view from this world, but the understanding established and sent directly from Heaven.
Yes, Heaven does exist. The Bible contains dozens of stories written by people who have been to Heaven. Their stories are seldom discussed in this day and age. Why? Because the devil is in hiding, and doesn’t want people to find out a thing about Heaven. One of my latest books, “The Tabernacle, Temple, and Sanctuary: Visions of Heaven,” is a small collection of those stories. My latest book, “The Tabernacle, Temple, and Sanctuary: Revelation,” is unique because it takes a look at all the visions and symbols John recorded in Revelation, not from the earthly view we are used to seeing, but from a Heavenly view. After you pick up this book, you can clearly see how every story and scene in Revelation was shown in Heaven, and was readily understood by every angel and being in Heaven. After seeing a vision in Heaven, John had a difficult time understanding. The next thing John knew was, an angel, elder, or other being was standing next to him, explaining every detail. That explains why people have a difficult time understanding the exact timing in Revelation. A vision showed John the exact order events are about to unfold in this world. Then an angel goes to John, backs up little in time to explain how this world got itself in such a mess. That also shows exactly where we need to go for answers, Heaven, and only Heaven. Which of course explains exactly how to tell the difference between a true prophet from God, and false prophets who are flooding this world at the very end of time.

If you rely on memory texts, your lucky to memorize 1% of the Bible. When you learn stories in the Bible, remembering 30-60% of the Bible suddenly becomes obtainable.
Plain and simple. People today have been programmed to expect quick and simple answers with little or no effort on their part. That’s a simple definition of this world today. But is that God’s way? Is that how we’re supposed to receive messages from Heaven regarding spiritual matters related to eternity?
This site is designed to get people up and studying scripture on their own as quickly as possible. It takes a dedicated person based on the Biblical concept of discipleship. This site will show you how to learn lessons in scripture most people miss. For example. In John chapter 3, Jesus had a talk with a religious leaders. It took that religious leader more than three years to understand the lesson Jesus taught. In the very next story, Jesus met a woman at a well. Jesus taught the same lesson. It took that woman about 20 minutes to understand. The same day, she went out and evangelized an entire city. Of all places, Samaria. The lesson is, once you learn the lesson Jesus taught in those stories, it is up to you how quickly you will learn and how effective your personal ministry will be.
The main focus of this website is to teach people how to establish a personal relationship with Christ. Jesus taught, one of the first steps is to develop personal communication with the Spirit. This story will help get you started.

Daily Nuggets
This is a section where I’ll post details I’ve been shown in scripture I can’t wait to share. Many of them are small sections from the book I am working on at the time.
Chronicles may be similar to the Books of Kings, but uses a slightly different spin on words, and a different sequence of events, adding some, and omitting others. People may ask why, or discount that different sequence of events to the views or interests of the authors. We have to realize, Jesus is the original Author of all scripture. Every single word in the Bible. We would be making a grave mistake to approach any story in scripture with the attitude, it is a collection of stories recorded by mere humans.
As we approach each story in scripture, it is important to set aside as much of this world as possible. As humanly possible that is. And we have to admit, setting aside everything we know is impossible. Jesus knew that would happen, and that would be a human trait He had to work with. So Jesus developed a system most theologians refer to as repetition. Looking at the books of Kings and Chronicles, it may appear they cover the same stories, and there may be slight variations to those stories, but a closer look will show how Chronicles seems to dive into stories much quicker than the Book of Kings.

Thank you for the comment. It makes all the time I spend on the web site well worth it.
I take EGW this way. If I run across something that does not seem quite right I put it in the back of my mind. Most of the time I do run across Bible text that supports her comments. There are some things I am still not sure about and there are a few of her comments I have found to be untrue, based on Biblical text. But how many perfect people has God called? Go through the list in your own mind from Abraham to Paul. I am writing an article on that fact. It should be on here soon.

I have read just about everything EGW wrote, and many of the books from the early SDA pioneers. The first book I read of EGW set the tone for my acceptance of her writings. The end of the GC is a little hard to believe when it is first presented. I.E. a city coming down from the sky. I never discounted anything EGW wrote. I set it in the back of my mind until I found supporting scripture. The last few chapters of Rev cleared that one up. Since that time there have been many more things EGW has written I placed in the back of my mind. I.E. amalgamation. One supporting text may be in Jude, strange flesh, which can also be interpreted altered flesh, hence altered DNA.
I look at EGW much different than most people. I stand by the rule of the little light leading to the greater light. There are a few verses and acted parables in the Bible telling us we are not to give people the false belief we are supply the full truth, such as the instructions of gleaming the fields. We are to leave items for others to discover. This is so others develop a personal relationship with God through study. I believe EGW stands on the same rule. Many of her writings follow similar patterns. She will provide a wealth of proof texts on one subject, and explain it detail. The next subject she will explain it with little or no proof texts. This is a signal to locate the texts on your own. When you locate the texts, you will find EGW didn’t even scratch the surface. We find the same pattern in the gospels. Jesus will refer to a text. In many cases He was speaking to the priests. If they had located the scripture and read the surrounding texts, they would have known, He was the Son of God.
Let me know what the details are of the EGW quotes I did not agree with and I can explain them.
I also wanted to thank you for your comment on the rich man. I have been waiting 2 years for someone to add details of this depth. They truly are enlightening and refreshing. I have to admit, I have never seen the texts in that light.

Understandably, because your mindset had already been oriented on those doctrines already in your mind, such that what you read in the necessarily had to fit into the kind of understanding that had already been “planted” in your mind by those doctrines, so much so that when what you read does fit with what is already in your mind, you need to study those verses in the “context” of what you had already been indoctrinated.

But God cannot allow His word to be so flagrantly messed up with those “context” you are trying to sell to me.
How can you contextualize your understanding of the plain language of the Bible? Your “contextualized” understanding is so simple a manner employed by your “inspirer” for the purpose of hiding the plain and clear message of the Bible.
When in Deu 21:15, says “If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated: “, is the “two wives” here out of the real context that you had yet to find out??? considering that the teaching now in the whole of Christianity is monogamy only,. . . . . . in accordance to the “sacrament of matrimony” that all churches have inherited from Roman Christianity?
We are no longer in the dark ages where the bible in Latin was off the understanding of the common man.
However, the Devil is so smart to hide the plain and clear words of the Bible by installing a “contextual system” of studying by looking for its correct “context” based on what is already accepted as the basic and general teaching of your church.
Of course in your SDA church, that “contextual” procedure in studying the Bible which is inherently SDA based, will certainly result to understanding the Bible in accordance to what the SDA wants the Bible to be understood.
For certainly, your “contextual” system of Bible study is not shared by any denomination, and you continue to teach the “purity” of your doctrines because of your belief that all other denominations are “Babylon”.
For which reason your understanding of the Bible is so uniquely just your own.
Thus, you can never sell to me your “contextual” system of Bible Study which results to hiding the plain and clear meaning of God’s words in order for one’s understanding to be tailored to the SDA doctrines that developed from the “rubbles” of your shameful history, the plain reason why most often you hide your identity.
Naturally, you are “ashamed” of your SDA gospel because it can not be immediately grasped, and therefore would need the “brainstorming” of learning the mechanics of your “contextual” system in order for the “understanding” of your “votaries” or “initiates” to fit into your gospel that is not the power unto salvation, but an enslaving power to put everybody under the law to be justified.

I usually delete these types of messages, but after discussing this matter with Cyrus, I thought a few people will learn something from this. The first thing I noticed was his opening line.

I checked the stats for the day to see how many pages Cyrus actually surfed. The stats showed only a few visits and 1.57 pages per viewer. So maybe Cyrus viewed 2 pages before making his judgment call. I also noticed he posted the exact same comment twice – which indicates his comment has been copied and pasted – which made me wonder if he has his own personal ministry to get out a personal message. After chatting with Cyrus for a few hours — it turned out to be true.
How can you contextualize your understanding of the plain language of the Bible? Your “contextualized” understanding is so simple a manner employed by your “inspirer” for the purpose of hiding the plain and clear message of the Bible.
When chatting with Cyrus he told me about his method of study. When he uses the term, “plain language of the Bible,” he is referring to proof texting. He opens his Bible, looks at a text and uses his understanding to explain what it means. Then he looks for other texts to support the first thought that pops into his mind. He seems to know nothing about context, except a strong desire to criticize without investigation. Cyrus has a message he feels he was guided to by a spirit. He went on about how he was possessed – fought an internal battle – and came out of it with a special gift to interpret scripture – using his simple method above. He claims this is a new method the world cannot understand – only he has this special power.

I have no idea why Cyrus used this text to criticize this site – which does NOT contain any comment on Deuteronomy 21:15. Additional proof Cyrus never bothered to read anything on this site and has a preconceived answer for any and all situations and questions. I have no idea what point Cyrus is attempting to make as it appears he contradicts himself. Is Cyrus supporting or condemning bigamy? You tell me what you see. From what Cyrus posted, he claims I can’t see, or is he claiming all Christians cannot, “yet find out,” his personal method of interpreting scripture? Why is he using this text to prove his exclusive gift? Is Cyrus claiming, “ that the teaching now in the whole of Christianity is monogamy only,. . . . . . in accordance to the “sacrament of matrimony” that all churches have inherited from Roman Christianity,” is meant to point out every Christian in the world has been deceived, except for Cyrus? During my conversation with Cyrus, he told me about the mission he has, the message he’s been given to share with the world. He claims to have received this personal message from a spirit only he has access to.
Zechariah 14:4 NLTse On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west. Half the mountain will move toward the north and half toward the south.
Cyrus’ entire message to the world is based on one scripture, Zechariah 14:4.The message he received said this shows Jesus will come back and reign in this world as it is for 1000 years. Cyrus claims 1000 years in Heaven is a misinterpretation proving the world has been deceived.
I asked Cyrus to take a look at the entire chapter to see if we could determine the context. We already know Cyrus’ message includes criticizing any type of Bible study relying on context. According to Cyrus, he is the only person capable of interpreting scripture. I showed Cyrus a few texts in the chapter his interpretation would also have to fit.. but he refused to listen to anything beyond his ideas. The first step was to look at the entire introduction.
Zechariah 14:1-4 NLTse Watch, for the day of the LORD is coming when your possessions will be plundered right in front of you! (2) I will gather all the nations to fight against Jerusalem. The city will be taken, the houses looted, and the women raped. Half the population will be taken into captivity, and the rest will be left among the ruins of the city. (3) Then the LORD will go out to fight against those nations, as he has fought in times past. (4) On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west. Half the mountain will move toward the north and half toward the south.
The chapter does deal with the Lord’s coming. But which one? Other texts in the chapter should explain the answer.
Zechariah 14:5 NLTse You will flee through this valley, for it will reach across to Azal. Yes, you will flee as you did from the earthquake in the days of King Uzziah of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all his holy ones with him.
There will be an earthquake before the Lord comes.
Zechariah 14:6-7 NLTse On that day the sources of light will no longer shine, (7) yet there will be continuous day! Only the LORD knows how this could happen. There will be no normal day and night, for at evening time it will still be light.
The source of one light will end to give way to a new light that will shine day and night. One of the most important places to look is of course the summation.
Zechariah 14:21 NLTse In fact, every cooking pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. All who come to worship will be free to use any of these pots to boil their sacrifices. And on that day there will no longer be traders in the Temple of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.
The summation tells us about cooking pots, sacrifices, and the end of traders in the temple. One additional place to look is the summation of the previous chapter to see how the author led into this prophecy about the Lord’s coming.
Zechariah 13:7-9 NLTse “Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, the man who is my partner,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. “Strike down the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn against the lambs. (8) Two-thirds of the people in the land will be cut off and die,” says the LORD. “But one-third will be left in the land. (9) I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure. I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘These are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The LORD is our God.'”
Someone is going to strike down the shepherd and scatter the sheep. Now we have to look at all of these details that need to be fulfilled on this particular prophecy.
The shepherd is struck down and sheep scattered.
Traders are removed from the temple.
All who come to worship will be free to use any of these pots to boil their sacrifices.
One source of light and another begin.
There will be an earthquake.
Are those items literal or symbolic? Are physical or spiritual sheep being scattered? What about the other terms? Physical or spiritual traders, pots, sacrifices, light, and earthquake? It would require an individual study on each item to find out the greater fulfillment they point to. Since we are only considering context in regards to Jesus’ return in regards to establishing a reign on earth, we will see if Cyrus’ interpretation fulfills each condition. To save time and space we’ll look at related texts for one, the shepherd and sheep.

As we can see, Jesus pointed out this prophecy points to Him and also tells us the point in time. Now we can look at the other conditions to determine what time they refer to – by locating texts – comparing context – and comparing findings with the entire Bible. There is one more detail we need to check. What does the Mount of Olives represent?

Its sad to think anyone could take one text about Jesus out of context in an attempt to place it in another time, another event in an attempt to take the glory away from what Jesus did for us…. and try to place that glory on himself. I run across people like this from time to time. We can learn a lot from such encounters. Such people will have 1 maybe 2 texts they base their ideas on. They will of course oppose any type of reference to context. When attempting to work with people like this, always stay in the chapter in question. Don’t fall into their concept of Bible study by wondering from text to text, changing subjects…. don’t forget…. these type of people will always claim to have a spiritual connection they believe only they understand. Stick to the chapter in question. Try to show them context. If the verse in question is at or near the introduction, look at the summation of the previous chapter. This example shows how people react to scripture on an extreme, but it happens at different degrees. People who prefer to use a proof text type of study will only study to prove preconceived ideas. They usually collect 1 or 2 texts and run with it. They have a strong desire to change the world and most often have other strange ideas on their agenda. They never are able to explain how to study the Bible and always claim their concepts of study cannot be corrupted by any other methods. In other words, they’ve run their ideas past other people then developed a plan to shoot down every suggestion. They closed their minds to any and everything. Their message is usually an oxymoron. They claim to offer new freedom while taking away the freedom promised in Hebrews 10. This is why its important to be able to understand and explain Bible context. All we can do is put the information in their hands and leave it up to them what they are going to accept and reject – and remember – a great part of Jesus’ ministry was focused on reaching the priests and Pharisees who tried and convicted Him. Did Cyrus ever consider the fact, many of the prophecies Jesus fulfilled can only be linked to New Testament texts explaining their fulfillment by using the general rules of an Inductive Bible study? So what is Cyrus accusing Christians of? If he accusing Christians of making up their own rules of Bible study to create their own answers to the prophecies Jesus fulfilled? More often than not, I see people with these radical views going to the same lengths to prove they are right and the world is wrong. They stand against so many things, they can’t see how far their extremes views extend. If we were to eliminate context, we would never see how one misguided interpretation contradicts others. Context is more than established Bible study rules – context is what forms stability in Bible study. God’s placed His own system of checks and balances in His Word. Its up to us to know and use the rules, and teach others to apply context. God has more personal messages in His Word than we can imagine. When viewed in context, these messages are consistent with the rest of the Bible. When new messages are personal interpretations, they not only compromise, but stand against God’s plan of salvation.

i DO NOT NEED TO SPEND MUCH TIME TO A WEBSITE THAT IS ON PURPOSE TO COVER GOD’S PLAIN UNDERSTANDABLE WORDS WITH THE CONTEXT OF YOUR SDA DOCTRINES, MR. “SDA CONTEXT”.
I am disturbed on how the SDAs continue to be deceived by their teachers who declare plain words of God in the Bible as “out of context” when those words contradict the SDA beliefs.
I am concerned because SDA unbelief of what the word of God plainly says will mean their “lost” eternal destiny.
I posted in my fb timeline what I sent to you about the millennium being not in heaven but on the earth as plainly stated in God’s word: I opened the website (adventbiblestudy.wordpress.com) of the fellow who heads and is only known as “Advent Bible Study”. I was aghast with the bold heading of his website which says, “THE BIBLE IS GOD’S WORD, CONTEXT IS HIS VOICE”.
His context, of course, is based on the established SDA doctrines! thus, when the plain words of the Bible appears to contradict the SDA doctrine, the words of the Bible is explained with other verses which can connect with the many verses that had been used over the years of SDA system of indoctrination, and already accepted in the SDA mind to support the specific SDA doctrine or teaching. It is no longer the Bible interpreting the Bible, but SDA teachings interpreting the Bible even in cases where the plain words of the Bible is not in symbols.
I am shivering over this Satanic ploy to cover God’s plain words in order for it to be not understood. These SDA teachers like this Mr. “Advent Bible Study” are living on the tithes of the general SDA membership for the purpose of deceiving them! These SDA teachers, may be honest in thinking that they are doing service to God based on their conviction that the SDA doctrines can never be wrong. Thus they use the SDA doctrines as the “context” to cover the plain words of God and declare the SDA context as “THE VOICE OF GOD”! HOW CAN THE VOICE OF GOD CONTRADICT THE WORD OF GOD? This can never be explained in any manner except that MR. ADVENT BIBLE STUDY IS IN CAHOOTS WITH THE ARCHDECEIVER, SATAN THE DEVIL! . . . . . consciously, or unconsciously.
Does this mean therefore that the early apostolic Christians were wrong in their spiritual beliefs because there were yet no SDAs whose “context” is the ‘VOICE OF GOD” to teach them?
I just simply want to give up in the same manner when I decided to surrender to the vexations of the demons who wanted to destroy my mind, especially after I learned the specific SDA teaching of the millennium to be wrong, in 1956.
I am now realizing why God guided my mind to this “millennium” thing back then. This can be the pivotal determinant on the eternal destiny of the SDAs:
SDAs do not believe on what Christians (which SDAs call Babylon) term the rapture in 1 Thes. 4:17. SDAs believe that when they met the Lord as prophesied in this verse, … . that is their start of their trip to heaven for a 1000 years of vacation.
But look at what God’s word plainly reveals which SDA teachers have to cover with the “context” based on erroneous SDA teachings:
Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and THEY LIVED AND REIGNED WITH CHRIST A THOUSAND YEARS.
There is no verse in the Bible that contradicts what Jesus said in Rev. 5:10. However, EGWhite who taught that the saints had to be in heaven for 1000 years because the earth is in total ruin, deleted the last phrase “and few men left” of Isaiah 24:6,in her Great Controversy, CHAPTER 41, “Desolation of the Earth, page 657.
Chrisstians (Babylon to the SDAs) understand this rapture in 1 Thes. 4:17 to keep them away from the horrible last part of the 7 years tribulation as prophesied by Jesus in Mat. 24:15-22, Jesus has assured the believers of the church of Philadelphia which in time chronology are the present Christians who are mightily preaching now the gospel of God’s unlimited grace (which SDAs label as cheap grace), for their safety, in Rev 3:10: “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
I am actually sobbing mightily with tears as I continue with what I am writing because I am thinking of how you and the SDAs with my loved ones and relatives therein, may get lost for eternity should you and they continue to be deceived by the SDA errors which SDA teachers use as “context” to cover the plain words of God.
Christ at the close of the 7 years tribulation (which is the 70th week of the 70 week prophecy for the people of Israel) had to then shorten the time of the beast power or AntiChrist by coming down to Jerusalem as described in Zec 14:4 “And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, . . . .”
THE SAINTS who had been raptured in 1 Thes. 4:17, “WILL BE WITH THE LORD”
Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
1Th 3:13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our
Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
As prophesied by Jesus in Rev. 5:10 and Rev. 20:4, this descent of Jesus and the saints in Jerusalem is to establishes God’s kingdom on earth for 1000 years, after he subdues the nations who come against Jerusalem.
If you and the SDAs do not get out from those errors that make you cling to be under the law to be justified, then how can you and the SDAs be under the unlimited grace of God thru the blood of Jesus and be among those who will be raptured to met the Lord in the air??
And if you and the SDAs will be left here on the earth to face the horrible pressure of the beast power or the AntiChrist to receive his mark, … . . . .well. . . .. that will mean either immediate death or your damnation for eternity!!! Will you wait for that time for you to realize that congregating on the first day of the week to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus has no trace of sun worship among Christians who you and the SDAs call Babylon?
I can only cry as you continue to harden your heart against the plain words of God. I know whereof I speak because I come from God. His spirit was with me even when I was still in the womb of my mother more than 73 years ago. God in his presence in his throne in heaven sealed me with the Holy Spirit to make me understand his words, and said:”YOU ARE MY ANGEL OF THE EAST”. God challenged me to prove the SDA teachings in the holy bible, his words, in 1956; and I can never disbelieve the scriptures whch I am herein showing to you and the SDAs. In 1965, God made me to have a foretaste of a divine power in my body that no earthly power, even the power of the devil, can surmount. How can you and the SDAs disbelieve me?
I will not stop this my work of telling you and the SDAs about the Satanic teachings of the SDAs which is to delude your minds from understanding the plain words of God in the Holy Bible.

If nothing else, this shows what happens when someone bases their entire spiritual experience on a hand full of verses. They dig in, complain whenever anyone doesn’t agree with them – claim the world is against them – and – they all seem to do this – threaten eternal damnation for anyone who doesn’t think – act – talk – preach – and what they are really saying — FOLLOW THEM.
Of course we can waste more time with Cyrus and try to share answers from scripture, but like he said in his opening line – he has no intentions of listening to anyone. Seems so strange – so – can I say — anti-Christ!!! The first thing Jesus did with everyone He met was listen to them. Of course Jesus always had the right answer – because Jesus listened to the right Spirit. Scripture shows us… Jesus never gave the same answer to two people. God’s Spirit knew their needs and Jesus followed instructions from God’s Spirit. Like many others, Cyrus insists there is only one answer for the whole world. Cyrus attacks one church here, but you can guess – he makes a life of attacking whoever he crosses paths with.
Here are a couple of points that hold true for everyone who thinks they carry the only true message.
Extreme prejudice.
They accuse every person in a denomination of thinking alike. They attack institutions. What their spirit does is dehumanize them by dehumanizing the world. This is contrary to God’s Spirit.
Extreme fear of Bible study rules and context.
Every verse they quote is used out of context. These people know exactly what they are doing. They know their only chance of gaining supporters is to make them the authority on Bible study. They fear knowledge. They know what they teach is based on 1-2 texts – their greatest fear is people finding out how to study the Bible on their own.
Very limited proof text.
Yes! People like this will run out of proof text in 5 minutes. That’s when they turn up the heat by changing the subject and condemn the world. How foolish…. claiming they carry one message that will save your soul. No wonder Jesus warned about false Messiahs. The world is filled with people preaching their own message – claiming it alone will save people. They’re doing nothing but trying to take attention off Jesus and the message He gives His disciples to preach.
A discussion is they talk and you listen.
You’ll notice how they keep going back to the same 1-2 texts they claim agrees with their belief. One way conversations never get anywhere. Don’t waste your time.
Remember.
Jesus turned Paul around. I can tell you for a fact, people like Cyrus already found more than a dozen texts setting the record straight. Remember Paul was blind for a time. Its a process they have to go through. They have to make that journey on their own. When Paul was blind, God’s Spirit put all the scripture in order for him. So don’t try to do this on your own. All you can do is pray for them. I’ve seen people like Cyrus turn around when left alone. All you can do is share a few simple Bible study techniques across to them. Remember – people like Cyrus already have an idea how to study – but resist it with every fiber of their being – because they’ve already seen the Bible prove them wrong. All you can do is share the fact, you know how to study and show them, they are not the only people who see how God’s Word is arranged to explain itself. God will see them through their blindness. But never try taking credit for a change in anyone yourself. Share a little – what God’s Spirit tells you to share and back off.
I usually ask a simple question like: We can agree God’s Word will explain itself right? Why don’t we take a look at the chapter your referring to. Let’s let God’s Word explain what that verse means. Explain how the introduction and summation explain the message the author is writing about. Avoid using the word context. They know what it means, but insist whoever they are arguing with invented the process. Don’t expect anything by leading them back to the chapter. I can guarantee you… someone’s already tried that with them. You are dealing with an expert at one thing, arguing their point. Chances are, they’ve been doing it for years and heard every counterpoint. Your wasting your time trying to present your point of view. Use their weakness in your favor. What to they want? To tell you what they believe. And they will. They think they are gaining favor with God be spreading their message. They are in their own heaven once they get someone to listen. They quickly let their guard down and will share details they’ve had on their heart for years. You listen and they instantly make you their best friend. Maybe the only friend they have. Until you disagree with one point they hold dear. Take note of what they say. Write down the short list of texts. They hate questions, so pray while your communicating. God’s Spirit will give you a question or two to ask… they may not make any sense to you, but those questions will open them up. Get prepared to hear a lot of off topic confessions. Their testimony is nothing like you’ll ever hear. Remember, testimonies are not taught in the Bible. Well there is one example. Paul used his personal testimony to defend himself. See how much good it did him. Let them use this man made form preaching. Your only hope to put in dent in the wall they built around themselves is to show them something they’ve never seen before. So take down the their proof texts and tell them your going to study it. This will put them in a state of spiritual blindness. They think they’ve won a disciple… they’ll think they finally reached their goal.
Take the texts and do exactly what Jesus did. Pray!!! Pray for an answer from God when you study His Word on your own and pray the Spirit will reach them. Your only chance is to come back to them and begin on the same texts they studied during the week. I’ve seen this happen before. God’s Spirit will do all He can to build unity. Take a look at the texts a few different ways. Use all the texts related to the one they give you. Highlight the key words that repeat and see where that leads. Look at the introduction and summation to see where that leads you. And look at the previous chapter. You’ll have to know context like the back of your hand — not to discuss context with them —remember, they already heard that argument. What you want is – God’s Spirit to show you something NEW!!!! So new you’ll be excited to share it… and they will see it in your message and reply. Jesus used something new to get Paul’s attention. Something he never saw before. Remember it took time for Paul to get the message. But once he did… there was no stopping him.

I really did not want to post this comment. The last thing I want to do is create an atmosphere debating doctrine that reflects a total lack of prayer which is the first step in reaching out to people. We’ll never get anywhere bashing people over the head. Such action is contrary to the work of God’s Spirit. If you are a Seventh-day Adventist, you should know what your first president said at his inauguration. When asked what this young church stood for, James White answered. “To be a church where people can meet to discuss what they know about God with respect for each other’s beliefs.” I guess each generation will write their own traditions.

Unlike those other online ministries, mine is totally independent. I am not associated with any church or institution. I network with a number of other people conducting their own independent ministries. Each is self supported. Other online ministries are an extension of churches and institutions centered on their own messages. Few if any actually teach people how to study the Bible. I’m not aware of any institution teaching people how to study and trusting God has those people in the right place and will lead them to where He needs them.
In this world, people have to remain totally independent to teach how to study the Bible. Which means they do not receive financial support of any kind. That makes it impossible to send out printed material and in most cases that includes printing material. Feel free so print and copy anything from this website. That’s what it is there for.

I have lived a life of sin for so many years, I had my back up against a wall like a caged animal, I truly thought there was no way out of my situation.

So called Churches in the UK Preech a luke warm service when it comes to the lords scriptures, and then I find out that the sabbath is a Saturday and I can’t eat pork or shell fish,,, how can this all be? no Pasteur has ever told me of these things. Can’t go to bible study its on a Sunday, so I keep the sabbath on a Saturday but I need help on what to do? how shud I pray properly and guidance in reading the word of my Lord and saviour Yeshua.
I’m lost l need help and guidance so I may get to know the Lord more better,

Thank you for sharing Miss Grant. I’ve studied with hundreds of people and found, when they open scripture, the Holy Spirit is there with them, and able to teach them far more than I ever hope to. For one thing, the Spirit knows exactly what each individual needs and when they are ready to learn it.
