Philippians 4 Don’t worry about anything

Posted by adventbiblestudy on August 26, 2011

(Philippians 4:6) Don’t worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart.

When I pray to God, I feel my worries drift away. I pray to the God of the universe, creator of all things. He is everything and every where. He knows all things, and looks after me when my heart is right with Him.

I put my trust in God. After praying to Him, I know everything is taken care of. I know I He has a plan for me.

(Philippians 4:7) And God’s peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus.

The peace I receive from God is beyond all understanding. Words can not describe it. I know my mind and heart is safe on the arms of Jesus.

When I put my trust in God, He gives me His peace which draws me closer to Him.

(Philippians 4:8) In conclusion, my friends, fill your minds with those things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honorable.

Jesus is the only one who is able to keep my mind on the more important things in life which lead to eternal life. Truth, righteousness, love, and honor can only come complete from Jesus. Through prayer I am able to keep these on the forefront of my mind.

I focus my mind on all the good things in life that God gave me. Things that help me grow closer to our Heavenly Father.

(Philippians 4:9) Put into practice what you learned and received from me, both from my words and from my actions. And the God who gives us peace will be with you.

When I put the gifts from Jesus into practice, people see Him through my words, deeds, and actions. They see God is with me by the peace He brings to my life.

God comforts me through His word, the Bible. With examples of what Jesus said, and did in His life here. I learn so much from these, and share with others what I have learned.

I enjoyed reading. What an inspiring message. I used to worry most of my time. thank’s to this site. Which is definitely true. There’s no need to worry because our creator, savor and maker is willing to help us.If we just call His name. All we need is to believe unto Him that He will always provide,is it financial matters, health, family problems , love life and so on.The Lord promised us that He will give everything we need as a father that provides His children.
