Isaiah 40 Jesus is Coming

Posted by Ez1 Realty on August 26, 2011

(Isaiah 40:10) Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

The Lord is coming in His glory. He is a strong and mighty ruler while being fair and gentle. He is coming to claim His reward.

Jesus will come to free this world from sin. He has already won the war, defeating death, and comes to deliver all His saints from the grave, to give us His reward, eternal life. Everyone that asks forgiveness in His name will stand before Him forever.

Jesus is a strong ruler who died to save us so we are his reward, and going to heaven is our reward…

(Isaiah 40:11) He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Jesus will come to claim His flock, those He has lead, those that have heard His voice and followed. He will gather us close to Himself, like a father holds His son for the first time. Jesus will come to take us all home. He will lead us to the feast in Heaven He has prepared for us.

As the shepherd of our lives He will take care of us, guide us, and protect us.

We are his sheep he leads us down his path and holds us close to him when we are to weak to just hold is hand. He is with all of us young and old.
