The Glory of the Father, John 17

(John 17:22) And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
When I come to the full realization of Jesus, I am one mind, one body, one power with all of them. The only thing that matters, is bringing people to Jesus. One sows, another tends, still another deals with the weeds, while yet another reaps. It is all God’s plan. At times we have to let go to see the Holy Spirit work. This is all to the glory of God, who works far greater blessings than I could ever imagine.
(John 17:23) I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Jesus is in me, like God is in Jesus, who offers me the same relationship He had with the Father, He had when He walked this earth. Jesus wants me to be perfect like Him. To put away all the sins of my life. I can never be perfect, because I have already sinned, many times. Jesus has forgiven me so much, He died for me. He faced the death I should have faced. Now He asks to be in me, to be one with Him, and the Father. All Jesus asks of me is to share the perfect love He gives me. Not to hold it in. Not to keep it for myself, but to share it with the world, so others can experience the peace only He can bring.
(John 17:24) Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
Jesus stands in my place, to beg forgiveness from the Father. Jesus pleads for forgiveness for my sins, my sins. He asks His Father to let me join Him in Heaven, to see the home He has prepared for me. Imagine, Jesus in all His glory, pleading for a common sinner. The Lord of lords, King of kings, creator, the Lamb of God who gave His life for all, has never forgotten me. Jesus knows love, because He was loved by the Father, before the earth was created. Jesus has experienced an eternity of love. True love was meant to last forever.
(John 17:25) O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
Oh Lord, what can I do to tell the world of the love you have for them? Only through Jesus, and the Spirit can I show the world the gifts, and salvation you have for them. If I tell them of my experiences, there will be little they will see. When your Spirit speaks through me, their hearts will be touched by your grace.
(John 17:26) And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
I would have not known God if it was not for Jesus. I would not have known a true, everlasting, and sure love, if I had not let Jesus in my life. Jesus, help me through your Spirit, to declare this love throughout the world.
