Capping the Oil Leak in the Gulf of Mexico
Posted by adventbiblestudy on June 2, 2010
This is my idea on plugging the oil leak in the Gulf coast. We know the pressure is too great to try any conventional methods. Why is it I read over 100 blogs where people knew this before the so called experts tried tapping this well?
Surround the well with at least 4 ships, big ships, like oil tankers, hundreds of feet long. Drop heavy duty vinyl curtains down the mile or so to the bottom of the ocean. The bottom of the curtains need to be weighted down. Seal the corners of the curtains as deep as possible. This will trap the oil in a contained area and allow other ships to pump it out.
Sure a lot of oil will still leak, but only a small percent compared to what we see today.
Sure water will be mixed with oil, but it can be separated later at BP’s expense.
They are completely insane to think they can cap this pipe any other way. It already took the pipe apart once, don’t they think if they succeed in plugging the pipe, what’s to stop it from busting a foot or two away?
