Learn the quick and easy method of Inductive Bible Study.
To get started you will need a Study Bible, showing the subjects divided with headers, highlighters and a pen or pencil.
A Study Bible will indicate subjects with bold headers, dividing chapters into paragraphs. The Inductive Bible Study will show you how to identify words and subjects which are the same, similar or related. When these words and thoughts are compared from paragraph to paragraph, they will reveal much more than a casual reading of the texts. This is simply following instructions given in Isaiah 28.
KJV Isaiah 28:9-13
9. Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11. For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13. But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
This method of study is perfect for group and family studies and will greatly enhance your understanding and comprehension. It can quickly be taught to others in an individual setting using only a Bible and a set of highlighters. This is a great study method to teach children.
